Bespoke kitchens
Every Sylvan Design kitchen is designed and built specifically for our client, so no two are ever the same. A truly bespoke kitchen will marry styles and materials loved by the client with the available space and light sources to create a magical room which the whole family will love.

Bespoke furniture
All Sylvan furniture is unique, designed for each individual client. We will marry the styles and materials loved by our client with the available space and light sources to create magical rooms the whole family will love. Whether its somewhere for you to gather and cook while catching up with the days events, a place to relax and unwind or an oasis in which to start and finish the day, Sylvan will create the space for you.
Our carcasses are a veneered solid timber board, generally oak or walnut. Dovetailed solid timber drawer boxes fitted with soft close runners. Door and drawer fronts are solid timber with doors fitted on solid butt hinges or soft close inset hinges. Facias can be lacquered or finished with a paint specifically designed for the kitchen, bedroom or bathroom. Cabinet and drawer inserts to suit cutlery, crockery, food containers, belts, watches, jewellery, make ups etc – everything thought of, nothing forgotten.
When it comes to the look of your furniture we will take inspiration from your home, (if a listed or period property) provide traditional designs or create a more contemporary feel. As we are not governed or limited by design ranges pretty much anything goes. Timber, glass, stone and metals can all be incorporated. If you are after an artisan installer, builder, plumber, decorator that just doesn’t get flustered under pressure than Stephen of Sylvan Design is your man. A most able project manager – everything organised, client informed and it happens when he says it will… stunning. Friendly and reliable… we just gave him the house keys for a couple of years, looked after the dog for a day too! Just so easy to work with – communicates, replies to calls and emails, and in return you get an invoice for works done each week that you settle as you go along. Everyone then knows exactly what is being paid for and when – just so different from other companies and so refreshing.
